¿Qué es el Formulario G-1145 del UCI?
El Formulario G-1145 le permite solicitar que los Servicios de Ciudadanía e Inmigración de los Estados Unidos (USCIS) le envíen una notificación por correo electrónico y/o mensaje de texto una vez que hayan recibido y aceptado su paquete de solicitud para su procesamiento. If you are filing a USCIS application package that is sent to a USCIS lockbox—including all family and marriage green card applications—you should consider filing the G-1145. While the G-1145 is not a required form, filing it will ensure that you get notified as early as possible once USCIS has accepted your application for processing. (Otherwise you’ll have to wait an extra week or more to be notified by mail, which USCIS sends out whether or not you file the G-1145.)
The G-1145 is only meant to be filed with applications that USCIS accepts for processing at one of its lockboxes (again, this includes all marriage green card applications).
You should not file a G-1145 with an application that is being sent directly to a USCIS service center or field office. You could cause delays in application processing by including extra forms that are not appropriate for your application package.
